What does the resonator do exactly??? If taking it off to instal the new exhaust, will this cause any problem?? Thanx guys

Just took mine off this weekend - my understanding is that it is merely another way to stifle sound. After removal, my exhaust is noticably louder but sounds great!

Yes, their only purpose is to quiet down your exhaust.  You don't need it.

yep there just a second muffler you don't need it to pass emmissons
