My celica says GTS on the back of it but I did get it 2nd hand, and it didn't come with alloys or sunroof. How do i figure out if the guy just slapped the badge on there. (makes a difference when I need to buy my CAI).

Thanks for the help

well look on the engine, it should say vvtl-i meaning its gts and if its manuel it will be 6 speed and redlines 7800 rpm not 6800(gt) also you should have leather wrapped wheel and knob

do a little more research when you make such a big decision such as buying a new car.

look at the gauge..wat does it say?? 140mph or 160mph?? 140=GT 160=GTS..if it's 6spds=GTS, if auto then just slam on the gas and go past 6k rpms and if you hear or feel the extra power then you got GTS...if you still don't know, come here so i can slap you for being stupid.. grin

See it was my only option for the car it was a bank repo from Miami and to get that shipped down to the virgin islands I got a good deal. I paid 12,000 for teh car and only had 13,000 miles on it. Gt or GTS i would have gotten it b/c i needed a car and it was one of the few good options. And it is an auto.

If you were smart enough to register on this site, you you must be smart enough to pop the hood. Do us all a favor and don't post until you know what type of car you have.

LMAO. That was classic. My best friend has a 2001 Civic (5-speed) and I have an '03 Celica (automatic, unfortunately) and she wanted to race. I told her it'd be stupid because she has a 5-speed she has an advantage, but neither of us have any engine mods so would it be possible to beat her? I want her to shut the fuck up about her damn V-Tech.
