What kind of methods/materials can be used to make a sub enclosure. What steps and processes.

Ex, Fiberglass

Fiber glass, dunno. I am making a bandpass box out of plexy glass, It would be way lighter than anything else. Cuz my wooden one is just to heavy... grin grin

you will achieve the best sound with MDF around the sub. The rest of the enclosure can be Fiberglass or hell even plywood since the only thing that really matters is what's encasing the sub, all the add-on stuff that's just for show doesn't have to be made out of heavy MDF.
