If you send somebody a PM, you dont have to go to General Discussions and post "ATTN: USERNAME" "you have a PM ", this icon " " will be seen by that person at the top of the screen, this is one of the unique features we've added and it really helps alot.
The flassing mail icon will get anoying after a while - causing that person to click it and actualy read their PM
