2000gt.
i've already suffered the notorious hit on the condenser bout 2 years ago...and forked out $500 to get an aftermarket new condenser installed...everything was fine for a couple of years...
then recently in the winter...i've only been using the heater..but when it got hot the other day...i discovered the AC no longer get cold...
it still blows air, and i think the compressor still works cause the RPM rises a bit when i turn the AC on...
but its not blowing any cold air...
the shop wants $45 just to look at it...
any advice...??
thanks

yea, for cars loosing ac, you can get freon in a bottle, then get he adapter to put it in. but be careful and dont overfill it. my dad does it to all out cars when they start to loose cool. i think you can pick up the supplies at pepboys. i think its 1 can for 1 car if it doesnt have any left. If anyone knows more info woudl be good.

Check and make sure the A/C button is on because you said you switched from normally running the heat to A/C just recently.
