oh man...she was blue, with bluish plurpleish eyes, nice curves...the ride of my life.. an 04 wrx sti with only 5K on it, mint condition...the owner, was like us...his car, spotless... boys..and girls...i must say that is one amazing machine...i mean lift is cool, but that turbo is sick.. it has a water sprayer to cool down the intercooler..how pimp is that? the STI logo on the steering wheel is pink..the car has to be amazing to sport a pink logo! it shifted nice and smooth, and you can control if you want the power go to like 80% of the front and 20% back, or 80% back and 20% front, and differnt ratios in between. brembo brakes, amazing seats..the scoop from the drivers seat looks so bad ass...if it had only two doors it would be perfect-er

i think i know what i want next...
or a 350z or g35 cpe..or a lexus sx430..or a supra tt, or an evo VIII..u get the point...

turbo, anyone?

this is Jae using Rons name.
Yeah just recently purchased the STI, its 05 with white/gold
Its a bad ass car. however 04 is so much different from 05, everything like interior, exterior, suspension, and other little stuff.
the fastest time i saw on a forum for stock sti was 12.8 i believe. now that's freaken fast, im pretty sure i'll never be close to that. hehe
It is fun to drive car like celica and handles great also.
Before i bought this car, i did lot of research deciding which car to go with. cars including evo, 350, g35, rx-8, s2000, and etc. And STI had everything, it is the fastest in its class, most roomier in its class, most torque and most hp in is class. Backed with subaru high quality parts and warranties. And there are many parts out there to make this cra to super fast. hehe
Spend about 2000$ and you can get it up to 450hp easily and safe.
Only thing i don't like about it is that the rear seats don't fold and gas. But its well worth it.
I'm just learning the car and pretty soon the upgrades!
Anyways, drive the 05, its much nicer than 04.
aight

It's not that much of a spread. Closer to 40-60, or 35-65. IT's a really good system, similar to the ALTEEZA system. I'd take an EVO over the STi, simply because the scoop is way too silly looking.

Do I envy you. I've driven an EVO once, but I didn't get to really test it or anything.

The only setback is the transmission, I heard.

Scoobys across the board have pretty nice reliability as a whole. However, if you're considering driving the STi hard, don't bet on the shiny reliability holding up.
