Hmmm... I REALLY don't wanna go turbo. I don't need HUGE hp gains just more low-end power and that "instant" push you get with a supercharger... I own a GTS so what are my options?

Yeah, I mean its only 7 grand. Here is the link but I think that this is for the right hand drive version. I am not sure if they even make it directly in a left hand drive version or if you just need to adjust things. Also you need to see if they actually have it in stock or if you need to wait for them to get it from japan. http://www.hopupracing.com/blsusytoce.html It is a really good supercharger as far as reliability goes (obviously heard from people who had it, no experience) but I cant say it is worth soo much money for the gains. Oh by the way SLVCELI, you and Polykarb inspired my sig! You like? Of couse my stock lil celi doesn't look as bad ass as yours but i'll get there... Not bad at all.

Yeah if i had 7k i would make a kick ass all motor celi or get TRD Tire/Rim setup with the TRD Big Brake kit and set it on the TRD coilover setup! That's about 7k right there! I don't wanna sound like a stalker but i'll be in Seven Hills right out side of Cleveland OH visiting a friend before i goto Iraq in March. I'd love to meet up with you! I wanna see that TRD supercharger in action! When are you going to make a vid? o_O

Like 5 people have asked to see it so maybe we could all get together and have a little celica meet lol. I am gonna be busy with classes at UC though so I am not sure if that would work out. I want to make a video but I dont have a camera that allows me to upload the video. Only have like a ten year old camera which wont do much good.

It would be cheaper to get a custom S/C made then it would be to buy the blitz kit. I personally think it's not worth the $$. you'll want to pick a nice solid blower and then have someone make you the kit. I garauntee you'll get better results

the PowerFC might do the trick for you. You should try it first as it'll be cheaper than a S/C. If it's still not enough you can use it with your custom S/C Lucky recommended.
I get my kicks on EC.

Stafford fabrications does it all the time with other cars. I saw them stick a s/c the size of our head on a ford escort zx2. lol it's all about how much $$ you got.

when is TRD gonna make one? that fits Never because of the compression. They tried it on their race car and couldnt get it to work without breaking down and since they warranty there stuff that is meant for the car, never.

^^ compression has nothin to do with the s/c. it'll run fine on stock compression. there's just no $$ in it for them

You'd just have to retard the ignition timing. Damage from bost usually occurs from RPMs not from the boost itself. Unless the damamge is detonation, however retarding the ignition timing would fix that.

with proper a/f ratios and tuning you would have no problem. the blitz s/c is sing all stock systems except the power fc for management. I'm pretty sure TRD could do it if they though they would make money. the celica is not a highly produced car. thats why they make em for the matrix. they make a whole lot more of them and whats really funny is lifting the hood of a vibe and seeinf an s/c with TRD across it It's all about $$. same reason we dont have cams. it's not impossible just not worth it for the big guys.

Not sure how that all plays into the gts supercharger but obviously you know more about this stuff than I do. But yeah, it is not worth it for them to make one just for the GTS.

^^ compression has nothin to do with the s/c. it'll run fine on stock compression. there's just no $$ in it for them MWR says "- This supercharger will not fit the GTS without a very large amount of work, if at all. It also wouldn't be worth it since the 2zz's high compression would not work well with non-intercooled boost. It is not possible to add an intercooler to this supercharger. Last, it's a pretty small supercharger and probably would get inefficient at the speeds it would have to spin for 200+ whp on a 2zz." I know the original question was not if this supercharger will fit but what I meant was that this wont the sc available now wont work because the sc cant be intercooled (only water injection) so they would have to produce a new one and that would not be worth while like lucky said.

Just pick up a JRSC and have it adapted o your car. that would be the best bet.

can you modify compression? like . . . overall change the compression of 11.5 to like 9.5 if you have a supercharger and N2O?

Its very possible to fit a s/c under the hood you just have to do a lot of fabrication work and trial and error testing. one thing you will definately need if you wish to put out better numbers than the blitz/trial kit is bigger injectors...cant say much more than that!

unless you are big into short light to light racing the a supercharger is way too much trouble and money and not worth it-look at the great turbo from c2 power that will give you mad gains and will be way faster and plus you get that nice bov sound which is priceless
respect the gt-s
