Hey all, i was wondering what is the best way to paint the center console? and when it's done does it look like it was done professionally or otherwise??
i really hate the gray console.

other question:
i have a carbon blue and i was thinking of painting the center either a shiny metallic color or black...

I am in the process of painting mine metallic black, I had to take it all apart to make it look really good. I will post some pics when I am done.

OMG! that is horrible. with my luck i am sure that that's how my console would turn out. hey when you get new pix up can you post them on here, cause i am dying to just modify my car and i think the center console would be awesome.
how much you think it would cost if i had it done professionaly?

sorry to steal your thread, pesho01, but since we are on the topic of painting, anyone think it's possible to paint the gray interior black like on the 03+?

you can do it yourself.. its really an easy job! just remember to sand, clean and apply many light coats. it'll look fine. i have some pics of mine in my profile, sorry no close up shots tho.

yes its very possible to do it black or any other color, but it will take a lot of work. some parts (the dash and center) you can remove and paint. others i'm not sure how you would do; but i'm sure if your really wanted to you could tape it off and paint. just make sure to cover the rest of your interior to avoid overspray.
