hi
i was interested in getting the sportlines and kyb agx s since i read that stock struts cannot support such a drop. can anyone tell me whether my car will be safe if i tune it this way? or will i need to buy additional parts so i won t harm any of the car's sotck parts?
also, i have the trd kit installed... will it scratch very frequently with this drop??
thanks

you might want a camber kit along with that setup. And whether or not it scratches will be dependent on the roads in your area. It'll scratch a lot more than stock though.

if you have the TRD bumper, i think u'll be fine because the trd front doesnt sit as low as most aftermarket front... i have the kyb agx with a 2" drop. you jus have to angle the car and u'll be fine.

no its the wheels that will get angled. As far as I know it will be safe to tune the car on stock springs. The only thing is that you have to do it rather quickly because the shocks won't last very long in those conditions 1-3 months. Camberlinks are bolts or whole upper control arms that allow you to adjust the angle of the wheels so that they are straight and thus wont wear out your tire as fast.
