Wow what a project this was!! It would have never happened with out Live42day! He basically did everything on this install! The alarm was originally installed by best buy and they hid everything and also grounded wires so that the remote starter would be very difficult to install. Let me tell you it was definantly really hard to do it took like 3 hours. It is such a nice feature to have and all my Props go to Live42day. Lets just say that him and I will be exchanging many parts in the future and are going to modify the Celica to the max!!!

i see you have a manual. i've heard that remote starts on manuals make the car jump. is this correct or is it just when you leave it in gear?

just when you leave it in gear. my mom tried to get me a remote start for christmas, but the shop she went into said you can't get one for a manual that needs to have the clutch pushed in to start, which i know is not true. this led me to believe that either they are illegal or he won't sell them because he doesn't want the liability if anything should go wrong, such as the "jumping"

^^ Yeah, it's a liability issue. Not illegal though. If a shop does it for you and you don't sign a waiver, you could sue the shop for doing it because of the risk of starting it in gear. Seeulater, glad you like it. It wouldn't have taken so long if Bestbuy didn't hide shit. Man, I'm still frozen from being in your garage for 3 hours.

LoL yeah the car only jumps when in gear! Most intall shops dont even bother installing them because of the possiable accidents. Live42day I got my other seat in already today too.
