Just thought some of you ricer haters out there would ennjoy this hilarious find. lol rofl

Most normal Hot Rodders pay closer attention to what really adds horsepower like buying mods that actually work together and have been proven by engines tested on a dyno etc. But the Ricers and the Mexican-modified cars throw that logic right out the window!

So here's my closest definitions to their thinking.

Ricers method of calculating horsepower gains :

Installed component Horsepower gained

Intake Tube with Filter 50 hp
Adding a Mega-tip (kazoo) to an existing Muffler 25 hp
Mega-tipped Muffler 50 hp
Mega-tipped Chrome Muffler 75 hp
Fiberglass Spoiler 50 hp
Aluminum Shopping-Cart Spoiler 100 hp
L.E.D. lights in the windshield washer nozzles 25 hp
Racing stickers 50 hp
Japanese Racing Stickers which you have no clue what it means 75 hp
Racing stickers that cover nearly the entire window(s) 75 hp
Racing stickers including a SUPER-STREET sticker 100 hp
Shaving your stock recessed license plate holder then hanging your license plate at an angle by a cheesy bracket 25 hp
Changing you dash lights to Blue 25 hp
Installing a new speedometer to read the larger numbers in KPH instead of MPH to look faster 25 hp
Lowering the car's suspension too low to clear speed bumps 50 hp
Changing the stock front and rear clips 50 hp
Changing the stock and rear clips and leaving them painted primer 100 hp
Installing really fast turn signal flashers 200 hp

Mexican-modified Car method of calculating horsepower gains :

Installed Component Horsepower gained

Fiberglass Spoiler 50 hp
Aluminum Shopping Cart Spoiler 100 hp
Making a late 80's Camero/Firebird Spoiler fit your 90's Hyundai 200 hp
Racing Stickers 100 hp
Super Street Stickers 200 hp
Japanese Racing Stickers but who cares because you don't know what it or the English racing stickers mean 300 hp
Car Make/Model stickers added to your car that don't match your car's Make/Model such as a Chevy 4X4 sticker on your Grand Prix 100 hp
Car Model stickers such as Si, R/T, SS, TURBO, Type-R, etc that absolutely have nothing to do with your car 500 hp
NIKE sticker on the rear window 100 hp
NIKE sticker on the front window 100 hp
Mis-Matched Hub Caps and/or Rims 150 hp
Mega-tip added to your Muffler 100 hp
Mega-tipped Muffler 200 hp
Mega-tipped Chrome Muffler 300 hp
Mega-tipped Muffler with the L.E.D. lights 500 hp
