wow lucky i hope your car is okay, cant wait for the writhe up, ive been wanting to take out the intake manifold to add the hondata intake manifold gasket, ill check in about 2 more days.

thats only what spilled out when i pulled off the manifold. there was twice that amount that I dumped out outside the garage lol

and yeah there was oil mixed with the water somehow still investigating everything.

that thing was pretty dirty lol. It'll cause a poor idle and will also cause the car to rev by itself.

damn man... i ordered an AEM cai today i'll be sure to get a bypass valve and not drive my car in the rain, does the bypass valve eliminate all chances of hydrolock or is it just bs?

how deep was the water confused you guys have been getting a lot of rain lately. sorry to hear that. that doesnt happen to often with the celica. i know guys with CAI here in VA that dont even have under carriage plastics, and they never hydrolock.

man that sucks. i just about had a heart attack last week. my under plastics are off and it was raining. the car started bogging down, so i went to a lower gear, still no luck. just about back home and it got so bad i almost stopped, but the house was in the distance, so i went for it. luckily i made it. i took the intake filter off and water ran out. i'll never do that again. it was only raining. no puddles, just water slinging up. of course my under plastics were off on that side due to some modifications for my new bodykit. sorry for the bad news. i know how you must have felt. i think i forgot to breath for a minute.

if your worrying about hydrolock and get a bypass valve just get a short ram instead because a short ram will be as useful as a CAI with a bypass valve but for less money and still a lesser chance of a hydrolock
