even dc headers do very little. i forgot who said it, but the dc headers give about 10whp on a stock celi, but when combined with exhaust and intake they do very little.

yeah if you're car is 100% STOCK you'll be lookin at gaining 10 whp give or take and combined with I/E you'll be lucky to get 1 hp.

AMSS headers were junk. youre best bet is to get the stock header ported and poslished. you'll spend less and get about 3-5 whp. best option currently on the market.

Yea, I've been reading the threads about the headers... why is it that they give you 10whp stock, but when an intake and exhaust is added, it loses it's power? It makes no sense @.@

you don't loose power it isnt rice math they all don't jsaut add up

just means the stock exhaust is pretty decent and the only real constriction is the header

here's the thing. Our cars are tuned by toyota, for the existing intake, exaust and whatever. When you change something, the car cant tell, so the CPU opperates the same. You can spend a LOT of money on parts, but if you can't make them all don't work togeather properly, there's no point.. I'm leaving my car mostly stock for that reason. If I mod it, I'll go big and get a Turbo. There's very little you can really do - you're lucky to add 15hp.. unless you spend major coin that is...

^^ actually you said that in reverse. the stock header is VERY well made as we've noticed with the poor gains from aftermarket headers. The biggest restrictions on our car is the stock intake and stock exhaust. (judging between I/H/E only of course)
