Ok its been a week or so...I got off the interstate, and my car is loud, like a tractor. I took it too the dealer, who didnt have much time to work on it because of the holidays. I am taking it back in on thursday. He has it narrowed down to the manifold. Its either cracked or gasket is blown out. Also im having them tear into the tranny to look at my stupid synchros, that wont let me 1-2 shift w/o totally grinding in. I have an extended warranty so it will only cost 100 bucks for a deductable, what do you think? Has anyone been through any of this yet?

Its prolly the gasket right after the header, mine was bad and had it replaced and was a perfect seal after.

So every check up is costing you $100 bucks even if they do not fix anything?

its behind the shield, its not any exposed parts, i tried that, They charge me 100 for any repair, unless its less. The mechanic I use doesnt charge me to look at something. Im sure he had a nice bonus from my engine problems last year, he logged in almost 200 hours on my car. I know for sure my car doesnt shift right
