its been awhile since ive had my sri. and the cel has been on for about the same time.. i finally got a camera so i could take pics to ask you guys what was wrong with it. i guess this is supposed to be hooked up to two hoses somewhere according to: https://celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f0_1953364979_0_collapsed_5__1.html#1953364979

what brand of SRI did you get? i know for a fact that the vaccum switching valve DOES need all the hoses connected to it and DOES need to be electricly connected. as far as those hoses go, im not sure where that hose is coming from in pic 2, but give me 5 mins and i will go check mine outside

ok just checked it, the lines that were connected to the vaccum switching valve need to stay connected or you can change them out with the supplied tubing, also it needs to stay electrically plugged in. the hose in pic 2 connects to the vaccum switching valve and the hose in pic 3 also connects to this valve, check the sticker under your hood, it tells you what hose connects to which valve, hope this helps. this is how i have mine connected and i havent had a CEL yet

umm well i just zip tied it right under the SRI, just ziptie it to anything secure so its out of the way , and yea that thing is probably the reason you are gettin a CEL, it has to be connected.

ohh well there should be a harness just hanging around under there. that should be it, unless they really did a horrible job and didnt reconnect anything, here use this install guide to fix it, i used this to install mine, just skip to where they tell you how to reconnect the hoses, it has large pictures with every install step http://www.overboost.com/story.asp?id=424
