if you want "bright as hell" you may want to consider HID's. High Intensity Discharge, lighting. Now those are bright

all in all: PIAA - Extreme White for super whiteness. Expensive - Spark Blue for a bright white with a sexy bluish tint. Expensive MTEC - Perfect blend of white and blue. IMO the pair of H7s that I had were super white, like HIDs. Both MTEC and PIAA should be covered by a warranty

i have heard mtecs look good (when they work) but piaa are better quality and may be worth it to spend extra money since the other might keep burning out
respect the gt-s

there arwea aobut a billion threads aobut lights but the consensous is, if you have 80 to spend get piaa, they are the best. if you have a modest budget get mtechs.

what about eurodesignzS? anyone have them? piaa i know are lovely but $$$ dont bother with eurodesignz...they give off a brighter white light, but unlike MTEC and PIAA, they do not improve visibilty at night. they supposedly give off a light output rating of 7350K-8000K, which will give you more of a purplish tint, but again, will not help you see at night. MTEC and PIAA are the best way to go. They both offer lifetime warranties - so if they burn out on you, you can have them replaced; though you'd have to pay for shipping.

I recommend the 4,000 for the brightest light you can get before HID. MTECS and PIAAs are about the same as far as brightness. PIAA are more visible but MTECS are more affordable. They'll last the same amount of time, so quality build has nothing to do with price. PIAAs for clarity, but MTECs are just as good. Just remember: When you install lights, make sure you keep your fingerprints off the glass. The oil on the surface tends to wear them out faster.

Piaa extreme white, for the brightest whites. piaa spark blue, for more of a bluish white glow.

I have one MTEC and one stock bulb for my low beams because my MTEC's keeps blowing out and my fog MTEC's are blown so that's all I'm using. The MTEC's keep blowing out and I keep replacing the blown one with the same stock bulb as always. Funny how I replaced the stock bulb the same amount of times I had MTEC blow on me and it is still going strong. Nothing wrong with the install there if you ask me. The stock bulb is as bright or slightly brighter as MTEC's and has better visibility in crappy weather. The cut off is the same for both bulbs. I can take pictures and maybe I should. I can't comment on PIAA because I never had them.
