If TRD does make a supercharger...it will be very expensive.

TRD makes a supercharder for the Corolla -S. The Corolla has the VVT-I engine so the supercharger will work on the Celica GT models only. There's a member here at e-celica that has done it. I forgot his name though, it's like Silver somthing... I'm sure he'll see your post and reply to it.

look at spending close to 6000 if not more and only getting 40hp-not worth it imo-go turbo at least you can pay like $4000 and get way better gains and dont forget the nice blow off sound youll get from it-oh yeah you can keep your hood with a turbo too

The TRD sc and e-manage with tuning and everything installed was 2800, at least for me (or 3600 total with the carbon fiber hood). The c2 stage one is 3490, plus shipping , plus clutch, plus install, plus gauges most likely. Turbo does provide a lot more horsepower though. 42 whp with the great torque of the supercharger is very nice so I can say I am more than impressed.

In regards to the TRD S/C, SLVCELI and I are the only 2 you should talk to. We are the only 2 to have done it, everyone else is just talking out their ass

he has a GTS. no, trd01, you cannot get a TRD supercharger for your car. there are a few out there, blitz is the first that comes to mind. it's some 6,000 dollars + install and tune. i'm guessing that the supercharger would have more of an effect on a manual, becuase if i read SLVCELI's dyno right, his baseline hp was 90 something, and i know the manual gt has 122 wheel.

The only complete bolt-on charger for the GTS I know of right now is the Blitz SuperCharger. Its hella expensive, I think like $6000USD, but my future goal is to get it . I just hope to God that it works on the 03' & up cars! http://www.blitz-na.com/Blitz_Comp_Celica.htmDoes anyone installed this on there car yet?!

I baselined at 111 whp and 98 tq. I would expect the gains of the sc to be the same for the manual, just added onto the 122 whp of the manual instead of my 111 whp. Since you have a GTS, look here https://celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f0_1953405066_0_collapsed_5_365_1.html#1953405066

did you do any other internal mods to your motor to handle the s/c er and where did you get such a good price on the s/c er and emanange. is that a new ecu or what. if you don't mind PM me back. so we don't tear up his thread. i'm looking to get it done but I have a 4k budget w/ no internal motor mods.

Okay... the Supercharger can only be applied to the GT, that is known. I might add that the APR Widebody Celica (white/red car) has the supercharger installed as well... notice that the hood is raised; this also means to get the supercharger you must have a hood that will conform to the dimensions of the newly modified engine. If you would like more information on the supercharger, you can find detailed specs and reviews of the APR in "Boost" the magazine. I only saw one issue of this magazine at a grocery store, haven't really checked for it since. I believe it may have even been the first issue, and it is run by a larger publisher - possibly Sport Compact Car. I saw that issue around March or April.
This same supercharger applies to the Corolla and also the Matrix, possibly other models??? The magazine article says something about this as well... I think. There are a few things that will need to be done to make this supercharger fit, and a new hood is not the only thing. SLVCeli and JBing are worth a boundless amount of information on this upgrade obviously, I just tried dumbing it down a little bit

actually, i believe to make it fit all that's needed is the new hood, but to make it work is the hard part. i saw today on spike tv a car and driver special called Boost, where they tested the TRD supercharged GT. they said it made 160 horses and some 140 lb ft of torque at 7(.5?) psi.

I saw that same show, car n driver had a marathon going. I think it did like a 6.2 0-60, and a 14.9 1/4 mile. They said the car felt more "drivable" because it had more power low-midrange. The model they tested was overboard, suspension, brakes, APR kit put the total cost past $42,000 USD! Which is like WTF. You can almost pull a 14.9 out of a stock GTS with a PRO driver! But it was interesting nonetheless.
