before anybody says that they are cheap explodes, i know, they matched. and before anybody asks why there is still sawdust on them, it's because i needed to get a pic before i went to work

Well I'm still going to make fun of you for installing cheap subs. I really need to teach you how to shop.
There is too many people selling good subs really cheap out there. You could have got 1 good JL Audio that would have been so much better than that crap. You will see in a couple months. When the wires keep burning off of them and you hear a really good system and wonder why yours doesn't sound like it.

Plus there is no need to take up your whole trunk like that. Let me find some pictures of a couple really nice, 1 sub custom jobs that are perfect for Celicas.

Don't worry, we all make the same mistake. We want bass, so we go buy a big cheap sub box, then realize it was a mistake.

i did the same thing i bought a cheap setup-regretted it then got a better setup-but now i want an even better one you learn as you go on

its a learning process.

They will still sound good. I have infinty's which i love but no matter what you get you could always have done better.

i don't see what's so wrong about the sony xplods

They are crap. They are worse than Audiobahn. They sound like shit and the wires will burn off once a week.

I dont see the problem? Some ppl like to spend ungodly amounts of money on a system cause its the "Best of the Best" and it's the loudest fuckin thing on earth. Others like to spend a little cash on something thats gonna add some bass and their happy with it.


My G/F has a 12 Xplode and has had it for almost 2 years now w.o a problem, its loud, it sounds good and adds some nice bass to the music that wasnt there before.

Hey I have 2 12" just like that. I think they sound great. I have had mine for a while and no problems what so ever.

Well, I could be wrong about them. Maybe I just put too much power to mine and pushed them too hard. Maybe they will be fine.

oh putting too much power through mine isn't going to be any problem, i barely have them at half power and they still sound solid

Hey Barret, I just seen the picture I was trying to find for you. I couldn't remember who owned it, but the car belongs to Risa and she just put a picture of her system in this forum.
She has the best idea I have ever seen for a system.
