I dunno Badceli, not to get on your bad side risa, but unless that's an "older style" W7. It ain't a w7. It's missing the W7 logo on the bottom and the JL W7's at least the new ones, don't say JL in the middle. The W3 however does. Not saying it's NOT a W7, just pointing out that unstoppable wasn't all together wrong in pointing it out. Coulda been done a bit nicer, but hey.

When i bought that from Tweeter they had just changed out the W6's and I was told that it was a w-7.That was over 2 years ago. I know for a fact that its not a W3 rolleyes I've had it worked on several times at different places and they've always agreed that its a 7.

Well I hate to say it but you mighta been misinformed. As far as I know the JL W7 came out in 2001 and looked the exact same way it does today the whole time. Perhaps they put some kind of cover over it? I dunno. Only way to find out for sure is to take it out and check. Not that it matters, if it sounds good that's what counts. It's a JL something that's for sure and that's enough.

Just lay off unstoppable, and unstoppable, try to use a bit more tact next time wink

If you really care take it out and check. I'd be curious to know if the w7 did for some reason have a different look to it at one point. But to my knowledge it didn't.

Hey if you got the receit you just saved some cash look at it that way thumbsup If they won't do anything about it talk to the better business buero (can't spell that word). I was gunna suggest w6 because they sound close to w7 AND they had two series. The W6v2 which looks like the pic I showed you. And the original W6 which looks like yours. Don't let em give you the shit, price for a NEW W6v2 is $435. Which means for a V1 it's less. You're getting quite the refund. I say you make em take the shit back and replace it with what you payed for it. Don't be afraid to take legal action as well, this is misrepressentation with a BIG price difference.

I guess you're right FloydianSlip6. I just didn't like the way unstopable called risa a liar. Since she is such a nice person, that really bothered me.

Even though unstopable worded his post wrong, I guess I shouldn't have picked on him. I have never been one to pick on anybody on this site before and I guess I shouldn't start now.

I had no clue what kind of sub it was.

Hey guys im back to post again. Um... Yes like i said that is not a W7, I do know my shit and i think a sorry should be coming my way. Im not a dumb ass! Ight thank you very much FloydianSlip6 for having my back. sure i could of been nicer but i thought someone was trying to make them self look cooler then they are. Price difference inbetween the 2 subs (w6 and w7) is acouple hundered dollars. I have a 13.5" w7. And dont say there aint such because it is called a 13w7 but it really is 13 and half inches. Oh and one last thing "Sorry to catch ya in a lie there buddy risa but that is not a w7. It is more like a w6 or something! But othe then that it does look nice. Thanks Chad" That better? Later

And you think a sorry should be coming your way? I don't think so. How about you say sorry to risa for calling her a liar...twice.

Yes, you were right about the sub, but we still don't like it when people call our friends liars. You know? She didn't set out to lie, she just thought it was a different sub.

Just like the fact that we don't make fun of you for spelling your screen name wrong. We know it was just a mistake from you. "unstoPPable"

It wasnt my intention to mislead anyone. I wasnt tryin to be any cooler then I already am. rolleyes I was only going by what i was told at the stereo shop. They have since refunded me 300 bucks and are currently kissing my ass big time for thier mistake. My setup still looks great and sounds kick ass so keep talking. Your just comfirming what an asshole you are. thumbsup
