just ordered lowering springs from local shop 2.25 front 2.00 rear... i know its low but i want it that way. anyone else this low?

I think you mean 2.25 front and 2.5 rear...and yeah there are a few people like that on here...but have fun driving like that if you have a kit

i dont know i have to call the shop back becuase if i read right thats what it was..but i dont have a kit will i be scraping that much?

you will have trouble if you have a kit...if not then that is still right on the ground...its not gonna tuck, but it is gonna be low as all hell...what kind of springs are they???

i have tanabe superdowns, stock kit, 17" rims. i do quite a bit of scraping. i hope you don't have a nice front bumper...

The Celica already has the nose sitting lower than the rear. If your numbers are correct, it will be even worse.

they are matrix springs and i dont have a kit yea its 2.00 front and 2.25 rear i know i will scrape but am i gonna really mess up my bumper>

you are gonna have to drive at an angle to get into certain places, and speed bumps are gonna rape you...what kind of shocks and struts are you using

probably. if you pull up too fast and too close to those parking lot thingies. (the cement stoppers) your bumpers paint is toast. i speak from personal experience

Your probably gonna get those tanabe Df210 springs (2.2 2.5). I currently have these on my car and i love them. And even with a Trd body kit i don't ever scrape, So you have nothing to worry about being your stock. I also suggest you get some new shocks and structs plus camber links (Hotchiks) Due to the extreme drop. thumbsup

The stock urethane bumper won't break if it hits the road or a driveway. It might get scraped up, but it won't get broken unless you step on it or drive over it. tongue

I've scraped the bottom of the lip less than 3 times in the past 3 1/2 months.

The front can only go down another 1/4" or so. The tires are 195/60-15.

Haha it will suck to be you Jeremy, scraping all the bumps and what not, but your celi will look sick with a drop and your 17s, I just hope you got enough saved up for some new paint in a little while. thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup

the shocks will be around $400 and the links are just short of $200 if I remember correctly

what would be some of your guys suggestions as for lowering? Not too low not too high? because imma get some springs but iono about 2.5" because of the kit i have on the Vielside EC-1. What do you guys suggest i get to make it look nice and hardly scrape.
