Hey guys-

This is the first time posting here. I've purchased a couple of items from this site and am very pleased with the whole process. Great site, very informative, lots of amazing machines and knowledgeable people. Its good to be in contact with so many Celi owners!
ok now for my dilema... i bought some nokya xenon bulbs for my headlights at this joke of a store called cusom modifyied here in Hayward ca, where I live. Anyway two months later the bulbs burn out and i check my headlights and both connectors are melted almost completeley off! i got an estimate from toyota they said it would cost me $1800 to get them fixed. I purchased the extended warranty for 7 yrs and because i changed the headlights it voided my warranty. I ordered the H.I.D kit sold here on ecelica.com and i was wondering if i could hotwire the system on without these connectors? Will it work?

Some thing happened to my old car. What I did is buy some upgraded wiring harness for that particular bulb and cut the original harness off and splice the new ones on. Did changing the bulbs void all your warrenty or just for this particular incident.

Is the whole wiring melted, because that happened to me and they gave that same price, all you have to do is buy new connectors or new plugs from the dealer, if i were you i would check that first, there only $10. The dealer only wants more money from you just buy the plugs thats it. thumbsup
