Aight i fell for that damn scam. They took my money and now im left with a shitty catalog of cheap audio equipment and a bunch of vouchers for free car sized vinyl. I emailed them and told them i wanna back off, that i wasn't interested and that i wanted to terminate whatever contract that was involed.

I have one year untill the CarSponsorship.com contract dies and i make no progress in buying their rice shit.

I need help people, and i don't ask for help often or at all, it is much appreciated.

The question is: What should I do now? Let the contract wear off in a year or find some other terms to cut strings with CarSponsorships.com.

Argh, Im pretty sure it was probably more like a user agreement. I had a packet sent to me with a bunch of "Articles" as or their terms. I haven't signed anything yet.

Im not trying to fight'em, i just want them to disappear within time.

You should be. Also cut and paste that quote in the mail to let them know that you read the agreements and that you are able to back off at ANY given time.

I think if you stay, you have to enter a few shows and rep your sponsors, don't you?

well, someone's gotta take one for the team.

at least your misfortune will let all the rest of us know that carsponsorship.com crap is a definite scam and we should avoid it at all costs.

now all we gotta do is get some people to try the tornado, the electric supercharger, and the dei cryo system.

How exactly did you get ripped off? Do you not get any percentage off of the products because if you do, what else did you expect out of this? Did you expect free stuff or what am I missing?

Take them to small claims court.

If you can prove that they mislead you and decieved you in order to get money from you, you will get it back.

Also, if they used the US Post Office to send you things (Catalogs, etc) and that was used in the deceptive act, they are guilty of the following:

MAIL FRAUD - 18 U.S.C. 1341, makes it a Federal crime or offense for anyone to use the United States mails in carrying out a scheme to defraud.

A person can be found guilty of that offense only if all of the following facts are proved: First: That the person knowingly and willfully devised a scheme to defraud, or for obtaining money or property by means of false pretenses, representations or promises; and Second: That the person used the United States Postal Service by mailing, or by causing to be mailed, some matter or thing for the purpose of executing the scheme to defraud.

All I can say is Thank God for this site!!!

About a month ago while crusin' thru Modified Mag, I came across CarSponsorships.com full page ad, and it really turned me on:
- We Get you Sponsored by companies that you know!
- 6 out of 10 applicants that apply get fully sponsored by one or more of our companies.
- Get up to $25000 to spend for your ride! Guaranteed at least $500.

Some of the companies that they included (which made it even more tempting) are:
- Dunlop (for tires)
- RaveAnn (for rims)
- B&B Suspension (suspension)
- Megan Racing (gauges)
- Decalkits.com (graphics/vinyls)
- StreetFX (for lighting)
- House of Boom (for audio **snicker snicker**)
- Evolution Auto Design (for the dash)
- XM Satellite Radio.

...and so on (actually, only a couple more).

Basically, they made it sound REALLY tempting, and I was almost ready to sign up until they wanted my credit card information right away... then I hesistated, and I'm glad I came here 'cause now I know that this is a crock of sh*t, that's evident not only by this thread, but a couple others from the same site that got totally burned.
