guess i'm the only one that thinks that the new action package is alright. except for the painted headlights, the tails, and the exhaust of course. but i like it better than the old trd one...

Hey I got that kit on my car, and mine is an '04 model, so it doesn't have the gay '05 altezza style tailights on it. Plus in Canada you can't get those ridiculous looking painted headlights anyways. It really like the look in the back with the C-1 style spoiler & rear bumper, and I like the sideskirts. The front is lacking some meat...which is why I'm looking for an add on front lip piece, or I may just get one custom made. That tip is removable, its just cosmetic, so once you get an exhaust, then you don't have to worry about it anymore. But the car really stands out and its something fresh and new, so I'd say go for it! thumbsup

I heard the TRD Kit complete was about $1200USD, so perhaps this is about the same too?

Here's a pic of mine:

I thought it looked clean in person & the wing looks better in person. Just didn't like the tip or the fake mesh. There's probably some way you could remove it, dremel it out & put in some real mesh. And I LOVE that new color. Thundercloud. It's a really classy color.

I was coming home from Riverside and I saw a hott looking black Celica with a body kit on the freeway. I was think to myself, "what kit is that?" and to my suprise, it was the new AP kit.

IMO, i love the new kit, not as much as the TRD kit, but this one looks sexy too. The rear bumper looks great, except for the gay exhaust tip, the wing is cool, the skirts, and the front. thumbsup

its one thing to see it on the internet and pictures, but its a whole different thing to see it in real life. eek

Thanks dude.. the canadian version is a pretty tasteful version. Like I mentioned before, doesn't come with all that extra weird stuff. Plus I got mine with the suede interior, panasonic system etc... comes off real nice with the thundercloud color. And this kit does look nicer in person, then in pictures.

Robare99, the rear bumper fake plastic can be cutout too, so yeah if you want the real deal mesh, then its definately possible, and sounds like a great idea! I'm going to look into that!

I have yet to see other members on here's Action Package in different colors (I saw one other thundercloud), if anyone else got this kit in other colors, I'd like to see pics! smile

Here is some guy's black Action Package, with a TRD Exhaust installed (its an '05 so its got the newest tails frown):

Hey it looks pretty nice in red, roxyracer's car looks hot. The big screen inside is like WHOA! I just don't like the body colored headlights, they should have never done that...looks too tacky.

SnowFire I know what your talking about. That yellow one is a dealer photo that's been enhanced. The front window is tinted, so it looks like it pokes out, plus the angle on the shot makes the hood look way too far from the front window. Anyways, the action package kinda looks nasty in yellow, I don't like it one bit. Like here is an actual one I found:

Yellow with this kit doesn't work for me imo! eek TRD Kit in yellow on the other hand rocks thumbsup, like Rob's car. smile
