i already read the install guide on it etc... im going to buy the wire myself and make it. i've seen kits that have 5 wires...and kits that have 6 wires. My question is, for you people who have a kit installed in your car, how many wires did you use, and what were their lengths? thnx

I got mine from Tuned Inovations(Team Celica)
There is 6 of them:

1 - 25 3/4"
1 - 20 1/2"
2 - 11 1/2"
1 - 9 1/2"
1 - 8 1/2"

That is the actual wire length without the connectors added.
Hope that helps! thumbsup

I think most kits use 8 gauge. 12 will prolly be too small. I also don't think they add ANY hp.

It won't add HP because modern ECUs figure out what's going on. It will enchance stereo performance though thumbsup

it improves throttle response, makes ur radio clearer and is suposed to give a hp gain but you wont even get 1 hp from it...

^^ring terminal..try to find some that'll fit thru the first part of ur lil pinky...cuz some of the bolt that you need to remove are quite large..regular size ring terminal don't fit, you have to cut to make it fit..most people use 4G..i dunno y some would say 8G..but i guess it would be somewhat the same..i used 4G blue, bought from ebay..

I read on a car in Import Tuner that got a decent response out of a Grounding Kit installation. 3-5 HP? There are so few engines that benefit from this mod, but it does the trick for the music experience.
