about 2 get trd wing and an absolutely red car.. was wondering if its good idea to paint it black to give it the carbon fiber look.. if i can't get a hold of the carbon fiber blade and actually paint the blade black.. you think it'll look too ricey?

yeah man, it would... dont front on ur car parts, its like cutting ur stock springs to lower ur car. its rice. just save up for a real carbon fiber blade.

dont do it. just paint the sides red, and buy a carbon fiber blade in the forsale or GB forum. i beleive simon is selling trd carbon fiber ceter bar with brake light.

I think painting it black for it being black is cool but not if your painting it to immitate carbon fiber. If the black matches with other parts of ur car than i think it will look nice.

could pull it off if you get the black thins like billy on the hood and some black or gm rims

On eBay a guy is selling a whole Carbon Fiber TRD wing or one with just the blade...
I will probably buy mine from there if I get one...
My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

what pissprinkler said, paint it black if you want to go with a black and red scheme. if you're trying to make it look like a Carbon Fiber blade, then go with Carbon Fiber. there's nothing rice about 2-toning it a bit

get it all done in red now... and then when you have the money or come across an excellent deal, jump on it... no need to go "half-way there" and look like that's what you did in the process  your car will look fine with everything all one color - focus on what you can afford and look out for good deals that you cannot pass-up

well said, isaac. don't ever go cheap on your car. always get the best you can afford, and if you can't afford something like the Carbon Fiber blade, get something good that you can afford.

NOOOO dont do it! theres a girl in my area with a solar yellow celica w/ a trd kit and she painted the spoiler, the front lip, side skirts, and the center gap on the the hood gunmetal. wanted match the color of her rims but it looks soooo retarded. ill try and find a pic of it.
