i installed the sri in my car a few weeks ago i hardly ever drive my car so i havent had any problems but my question is do i need to install a heat shield and if i do where can i find one?????

I'm assuming you have an Injen s/r? You don't need the heat shield, but I think the CelicaStore has it, if you decide to get it.

you dont NEED a heat shied, but it helps keep the hotter air away from the filter, giving you less hot air ( colder air = better , but everyone knows that right? ) and the everythingcelica store has it (aem i think) one of the links at the way top

scratch that, the bypass valve is aem, but the heat shield is ingen, my bad

Its a good idea to have a heat shield because it can also deflect water that may splash into the engine bay. Better gains, nothing wrong with that, right?

i liek the RMM style, look in my profile. It would seem it blocks more area then injen would. U can get it at the rodmillianmotors website. Its normallt silver but i overlayed it in carbon fiber
