Celica Forums General Discussion General Engine Restorer Lubricant, any good? review anyone?

ok i've seen this for sometime now, i actually bought one for my gf's car..it's old 1992 corolla with 77k on it..it help with idling, it idle betta, just a lil bit now but i still don't know if i should use it on my celi..any thought??

i use it once long time ago and it didn't do jack IMO

Its good for old cars (I would say 8yrs and more) that have worn engines, because it does fill in scratches and restores some compression. But I wouldn't recommend putting into a newer car, as it probably will do more harm then good. If there is nothing to seal, it might just coat your pistons with goo and plug up oil passages.

oh yes...i put that in my old 95 eclipse rs...i felt my engine improve much better when i beat on it..

ok..so that stuff is good for older car, just not our celi..got it..i'll keep putting that stuff in my gf's car the next time she have her oil change..since it does help with idling a bit..maybe a few more time will help it idle betta.
