my celica has been sittin around for a while and the gas meter says it still has gas but its almost empty how do i reset it so that it reads the right amount of gas it has in the tank i've tried driving around then filling it up to see if it will work again but it fills up ,and the gas gage wont fill up all the lines the last line dosnt show up

To reset the ECU just disconnect the negiteve battery terminal for 30secs or so then conncet it back. Not sure if that'll solve your problem with the fuel gauge though...

Not sure if that'll solve your problem with the fuel gauge though... that's a hassle disconnecting the batt. terminal EZ way to reset your ECU in less than 30 secs: Remove the fuse (yellow arrow) with the tweezers (circled in green), wait for a few secs. then replace it. more info: https://celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f_1870213935_0_collapsed_2__1.html
