wow...
no name brand -might not be as good -not a reputable intake -cheap
name brand -guaranteed to be good (kinda) -comes with a warantee -a bit more expensive -you wont have to worry about your intake killing your engine somehow

Usually better gains and better fitment with name brands. Satisfaction of knowing your intake should last longer than a non-name brand.

I don't understand... think of it as you comparing a Toyota vehicle with a car someone built...which do you think is going to run better? exactly. Toyota. Name brand...this is common sense.

im sure i can make a better car then ford hehehe shouldn't be too hard! anyway, name brands are gonna be better more often than not. It'll fit better, you'll get instructions, and most likely a waranty

whats that thing called thats so important to us?? come on I know it. Oh yeah quality theres your difference. Its like buying a sony tv or a smith tv. One you know is good quality and the other is not a name brand for a reason.

Well, an intake is just a tube that allow air to flow through... I don't think there's much different in performance gain if you're using the same filter. Basically, the difference is the material that they use... the name brand one use a better material that are usually stronger and last longer or even conduct less heat than the non brand name one... just my 2cents!!!
