i recently picked up a 4th generation, 20gb ipod. has anyone tried to mount an ipod in the late model celica? because of the curves of the interior, i'm not sure how to proceed. all suggestions would be very welcome. thanks in advance

I'd do what spaztikid said, you can have it wirelessly in your car w/ the FM transmitter.

fm transmitter not an option for me. i live in the middle of metro la and 1) there aren't enough open fm frequencies that STAY open for me to not get fuzz, 2) you're losing a lot of highs and lows in the music. the best you can get is "Good" radio sound, which isn't enough for me, and 3) i've tried the belkin one, the itrip, and the podfreq, and all get fuzzy within 3 minutes of driving on the 10. thanks for the idea, anyway. by the way, it seems as though the thread in "general automotive discussion" has taken off quicker than this one. if interested in the topic, post here instead. https://celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f0_1953430835_0_collapsed_5_365_1.html#1953430835
