I have been working on my car for months now and we have it almost done. I would like to try and have it put in a magazine but have no idea how to do that?
Well you have to get the car noticed by publishers. It might take a while but in the end it will be worth it. Try going to shows and competitions. The publishers will approach you if they want you on.
i'm a girl too and i'm lovin' the green pin stripe as well as the blue... i guess i'm just not a fan of pink on cars... but to each his own... looks great anyway you'll do awesome at shows
"You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your f------ khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world."
judging from your profile you dont have a car. I have been around cars my intire life. My dad has raced and sponsors a car now. winston west series. So just because I'm a girl that means nothing. I Know more about cars then most. I work on my car and do most of my own repairs. So dont judge me just because I'm a girl.
Hardy don't listen to these dumb ass fools they are just hating.. To each has his own creativity thats what makes us unique and diverce. So go on with your bad self and enjoy your stay at Ecelica.. Btw nice ride
Welcome aboard! Very nice job with the Celica. You should have no problem being noticed at car shows. Once again it looks beautiful & I wish U the best of luck!
hardy nice show car. Good to see females in this kind hobby where its all sausage fests. Yeah just go shows with that widebody kit you will get attention. I've seen cars with like like a 1/4 in fender sticking out and its called a widebody kit. I'm not into pink but whatever floats your boat
yeah Sarah, don't listen to those dumb f*uck*rs, your own imagination and creativity is you own, that is awesome and props on what you have done. They don't like you because you have a better car THEY wish they were you! Good Luck!!
your car + turbo setup + lots of show will sure attrack local magazine editorials. you might also want to start looking for sponsorships, since sponsorship can link you to so many connections especially those well known brands. It does take a while to be in one and patience is your best friend.
The reason why I said turbo setup is because not a lot of 7th gen celica has a turbo setup in their car. Majority are just intake, exhaust, bodykit, rims and etc... if you want your car to be in a magazine you should make your car stand out amongst the rest of the celica owners. make it unique
the car is okay, just not digging the paint and the wheels...but Im glad to see a girl that is hooking up her car!!! theres not many that know what to do...your dad looking to sponsor another car? HA HA HA!!!!! J/P nice work with the widebody and welcome to ecelica any questions you have can be answered here, with some bullshit haters, but mostly ppl will answer your questions...
2000 Celica GT-S Spectra White Current mods: Magnaflow Cat-back Exhaust Currently saving for custom turbo....MUST BE F/I!!!!!
^^ if you look at her register date she's been a member for almost 2 years... haha... this post probably should've been in the general discussion forum...
Judging by that viper in the garage I'd say your a spoiled girl who doesn't know anything about cars.
ok, what the fuck is wrong with you? i have not heard/read anything that would classify her as being spoiled. she doesnt sound like she's snobby, rather she's modest.
Gaw Dammit you people wiht your "spoiled rich kids" bullshit. if her folks had the money from working hard and decided to make their kid happy, then thats cool. but its the "poor jealous people" that start shit.
I dunno if meant that you were joking, but with comments like that, thats how people get pissed off. if your parents "spoiled" you and someone rags you about it, you'd get pissed too.
Im poor, my car is fucking rice, and i never said anything demeaning about her lifestyle. If i had "rich" parents that could do that for me, I'd consider myself lucky.
Hardy, you've got a great car. You're a girl, so definately you'd be able to get into magazines. its a rare treat to see chicks with modded cars, like yours good luck
I've mastered the art of the After Image Technique.
^^ thanks i used to... but now my sideskirt cracked away from my door... so i've gotta fix that... plus i was an idiot and let my boyfriend drive my car and he tailgates so now there's chips all over my car eventually i'll have it show-ready again though... i want to get cylinders too before i go to another show because i'm afraid to just lower it because the roads are crappy around here and my body kit is molded... so if i hit.. i'm screwed... also gonna work on the stereo system... got a friend that can fiberglass... and powdercoat... car's gonna be awesome when i'm done!
