Hey guys, just wanted to show you what the dash looked like underneath. I had some horrible rattles in my dash due tomy polyurthane filled motor-mounts. I removed the dash to apply fat-mat(generic dynamat) everywhere. I got a hold of a plethera of scraps so I used them and I have a shit load to spare. It was a grueling process, one day removal, one day installed. but it was kinda cool, gave me a better understanding of whats in my car.

Where did you get the gauges in the center consol done?? I was thinking that would be a great way/place to put in gauges. Could you post some more pics of your center consol?? What was the cost on that project?? If you don't mind... thanks!

no rattles in the dash, I have a little rattle still at the ignition, my keys rattle. I would make a write up, but it seems like it'd be a lot of work. I used the diagrams in the tech books in the gallery sections. I was afraid to paint my dash, I painted a piece of my door and it turned out horrible. I have to fix it some how. Painting is the worst thing ever. About the center console, I made that myself w/ fiberglass. I had a sale on fiberglass projects during christmas but I only recently got 2 orders for a JDM look-alike and a console like mine

yea I painted my doors, and they're pretty screwed. I wanted to paint that accent strip on the door where it flows into the speacker grill black. didn't work so well. I haven't really worked on it that much though, but I absolutely hate painting. I need some advice

i used some sand paper, to rough up the surface. soap and water to clean it off. blue masking tape and newspaper to mark off the diferent colors. and these paints: the duplicolor is from walmart and the SEM was from an autopaint store. if you have a hairdryer, its useful to speed up the drying process.
