Get some decent wheels first. Why spend a lot of cash on a widebody kit, and still have the car look like shit...which is how a widebody kit with stock wheels look. Or, basically, is how ANY kit looks with stock wheels.

Yeah, if you go widebody, I would wait until you have about 5 or 6k saved up first. Sucks when you can't do the whole project at once.

if you plan on using your stock wheels or wheels that are less than 8" wide...think aout using wheel spacers. don't push them out more than 1" though because the furhter you push your wheels out the more prone to cracking the spacers are.
best would to be to buy at least 17" rims that are at least 8" wide for a widebody setup.

Wide body with stock wheels would look ultra gay! Like what's the point?! The whole point of wide body is to be able to fit wider wheels/tires in there in the first place.

you can put on 8.5" 17" 18" or 19" rims with spacers. If you go 19" you must go super low profile. I used 18" and they work good. I think most wide bodys are using 19"

^^ a lot of them do use 19s..especially the pure show cars. most daily driver widebody celicas still use 18s though

Sure they will, but why not get a set of coilovers? Nice to able to adjust if you need to.
