oka so one day i'm looking for a new front bumper on some sites that carry kits right.. and i come across a pic of my celica at a show i when to in cali about 2 1/2 yrs ago. these fools fliped the pic so everything that was on the right side was now on the left. the add is for the evo4 front bumper. what can i doo.

Was this a pic you took or they took? On something like cardomain they can take all your pictures and do anything with them they want. If you were entered into a competition at the car show did you have to sign anything?

You can't do much if you put your car pic on the Internet, its a public forum and everyone can take it and use it. You can only protect yourself if you copyright the material and actually state that on your website, or like one of the guys said, put a logo in the background. You can only take it as flattery and move on.

they dont have to give you anything unless its copyrighted (already said). haha you can always ask though..but the most companies pretty much know they can use ur pic without consent unless its copyrighted
