I agree with Isaac, pay a little bit more than gutter guard and get a quality oem part that will fit perfectly.

If you want cheap, try some gutter guard from home depot or lowes. Check the installs section for how to attach it. I used it on my last car, looked pretty good, I must say grin

I think if you tried doing it without removing the bumper you'd wish you had just gone ahead and taken off the bumper.

In other words, it's not a question of whether it CAN be done, but whether or not it's worth the trouble of taking a short cut. In this case, I think the short cut isn't probably that short.

Where are people getting the genuine Toyota 2002 grills? Supposedly a lot of people are only paying $50 for them, but my two local Toyota dealers want $75-80 for one.

I don't want a custom grill. I like the looks of the factory grill, and I want the lower grill to match the upper grill. Also, I don't want to have to take the bumper off to install it.

Where can I get a Toyota grill for $50?

I think the $35 grill listed on WCToyota's standard parts site is the upper grill. The lower grill is part# 53112-20260, and the cheapest price I could find is about $60 (including shipping) from WCToyota's TRD site.

I hate to pay that much for a piece of plastic, but I do want the OEM part, so I went ahead and got one since that's the best price I could find.

I actually bought one from toyotaparts4u.com for $56 shipped. Local dealers were charging $65 and up.

Well, I got my grill from WCToyota today! I must say, the installation is very simple. Definitely much better than anything that requires removing the bumper. It fits pefectly (obviously, since it's an OEM part), and it looks very nice. Highly recommended--I wish I had bought one sooner.
