Has anyone ever had a prob with their spedo quitting? Mine bounced from 0-60-0-60-0-60...for a couple min yesterday, then finally stayed at 0. During this time, my mileage never moved. I was gonna pull over and restart when I had a chance, but after about 10 mi it just started working again. I haven't had any probs with it since then. My car has 17k on it.

Hmmmm, a stuck cable? The Saturn I had before the Celica had a "lazy" spedometer. When it was cold, the spedometer wouldn't work until I got up to about 25 mph, then it would jump up to the proper speed. It never got any worse than that. I wouldn't advise doing anything unless it breaks, or keeps doing it.

IDK, but thanks. It hasn't done it since then, so far. I had work done at the local dealership, so I was wondering if they might've 'put in a fault' to get some money outta me. Should be covered under warranty tho. I'm just concerned that if it's in my dash, it won't be covered under warranty. I did the led conversion so I know my dash is no longer covered...

^^^Yea, but if it's in my dash, that's no longer covered by the warranty.
