just curious to see what you guys have been payin for a custom paint job...i know prices differ from shop to shop..just wanted to see if i could get a ball park figure...i want to do like a sunburnt orange...like the nissan z orange. thumbsup

custom paint on my car with repainting everything including under the hood and door jams is anywhere from 1800 to 2700 at the shop here in NC. thumbsup

only if you do somehting silly like airbrushing, it should be from 3-5k for a real good custom job

Yeah, but if you looking for something with Candy and such, your probably goin to pay over 5 g's

Most shops by me cost $4000 to $5000 for a pearl, $5000 to $6000 for camilian(sp) and then $7000+ for candy because you have to be a really good painter to be able to do candy... Plus there are like 14 coats for candy and if you don't do it the exact same all the way around the car then you will get different colors.


My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

depends on how many coats they put on too... i'd say the cheapest your gonna see is 2500... i've heard of paintjobs up to 20k.

those 350z colors cost a lot. I painted mine the 350z blue color for $2000. Their paint is not cheap but it sounds like your ready to shell out the money so enjoy! thumbsup

i think to actually tape up, and paint my car it wasent too bad considering i painted hindges and everything...i think i payed 2grand? but my paint was $642 per quart and we used 3 quarts

wtf???? yeah i know prices up there are a lot higher for everything, but i wasn't aware it was that bad. it's probably worth your drive to nc to have it done if you have to pay 10K, we could do a complete color change with custom paint from HOK for way less.
