ok, does anyone know if the C2 turbo kit would be legal in CA? The emissions is crazy up the ass here in CA. and I was wondering if anyone in CA has a C2 turbo and uses their car as a daily driver.

there is no forced induction system for the celica that has a CARB EO# that is required for street use in california...

...though there are quite a few who run turbos with celicas in cali..they are not exactly legal. if your hood is popped..you're toast...

I've heard a lot of the ummm..minority smog shops in L.A. ignore looking for CARB stickers...

so since the C2 uses e-manage piggyback you can theoretically pass the test. tuning and 100 octane may be necessary. now I'm not sure if anyone has tried it yet with the C2...

I feel sorry for Cali people, having to go through all that smog shit. Arnold should lift the CARB shit cause he runs around in like 35 hummer H2's.

You can't pass a real inspection in California with any non-CARB certified parts installed.
