"TPR Gives no CELS!" If people installed their intakes right, no one would have to worry about it (like me).

CARB only applies to Cali residents.
K&N have a very similiar to design to aem I believe. I think they also have similiar problems too, i should dig up some review threads on the K&N...
TPR Intake! - Injens high end with AEM's low end and NO BOGGING! TPR EXHAUST! - Exhaust made 10.5 whp peak and 32 whp at 6300 on my car!!!

Despite all the intakes out there, TPR is only one that gives you no bog & no CELs right? You may or may not get CEL with the others, but it will definately bog low end.

Get TPR if you can wait and dont need carb legal. Otherwise get AEM unless you plan on getting a pfc cause I hear that injens perform better once you add in some better maps

As I understand it:
Celica's MAF and ECU are calibrated to detect and calculate air flow thru a 2.5 inch opening with fins just in front of the MAF to minimize air turbulence (stock air box).
Most aftermarket intakes (AEM, Injen, and K&N) place the MAF in a 2.75 inch finless tube environment; this can sometimes throw off the readings the MAF sends to the ECU, which can sometimes lead to the ECU miscalculating how much fuel to inject into the cylinder and cause Bogging or a Check Engine Light to come on because the mixture is too lean or too rich.
Not everyone who uses an AEM or Injen intake will get CELs or bogging.
The TPR CAI doesnt Bog and throw CELs because it has correct MAF environment dimensions and fins to minimize turbulence near the MAF, which helps to ensure the ECU always gets the correct air flow reading from the MAF.
Well thats the theory anyway.

I have the K&N and like it a lot. Never had a CEL or anything. It was a 30 minute install tops with basic tools. I have heard too many complaints about AEM, and INJEN. I know other people have had no probs, but I have never heard a complaint about K&N.

Can we get some kinda comparason goin on here. I already know AEM is better low end and injen is high end right? How about prices for each intake and gains and HP and more info you guys can think of. Than maybe the only thing i'll have to worry about is what COLOR to get
