NOS is not bad but everyone thinks it can't fuck up your car while it can. S/C is safer as well as turbo. I would go with C2 Stage 1 turbo for now...get internals after and work up from there...you can have a higer stage turbo but still have lower PSI but when someone wants to gun it or you are at the track you can boost the psi up...the other companies are not as reliable as C2 so dont' go with XS or FS...plus Gas and Atilla are great, they will answer any questions and are real helpful thumbsup I hope this helps grin

I looked at c2powers turbo kit. It looks awsome thumbsup, but the only fuel upgrade is the Greddy E manage. I like how XS turbo uses a PFC, larger injectors and pump. is the e manage very "user friendly?"

yes it is...well the thing is you have a gts and they have dbw from 2003 on so the power fc will not work so you have to go with a piggy back system anyways..i have a gt so i will get the power fc when i get the c2 turbo.

Just noticed you have a 2001 smile lol...then you could just get the Power fc later down the line since you dont' want too much power right away, correct? also, xs doesn't really make them for our cars anymore or that is what i have heard and they take forever to deliver...plus, the gains of an xs is better for stage 1 then c2 BUT after that...C2 destroyes it smile Trust me..i have been talking to Gas and Attila for a while now...go with them and you wont be disappointed smile thumbsup

Do you mean the Celica GTS will function primarily as a daily driver and see some race time? Or that it will only be a daily driver and that you just want more power on the street?

IMO, the Celica GTS with standard I/E and PowerFC is plenty of power as a daily driver, especially since the PFC adds so much low end torque. If you put a turbo in your Celica, you can expect your fuel economy to go down so if the car were ONLY a daily driver I would not recommend it. I would only turbo if I planned on racing my GTS on a constant basis. S/C is not worth it, unless you want to road race.

If I were to race only once in a while, the answer would be:

Nitrous Oxide.

Relatively the most cost-effective for occasional racers. Simple, easy to install, or uninstall if you want to pass a smog inspection. Safe if done right. Plenty of power.

I get my kicks on EC.
