is there any differnce between the uk spec celica and the us ect spec celica ??????????

In the UK GT(vvt-i) often has a 6speed manual transmission verses US has only a 5speed transmission.

hi guys,
is there any differnce between the uk spec celica and the us ect spec celica ?????????? yea--we wash ours   j/k but anyway the gt has a 6-speed just like our gts. you guys also have climate control where we have regular a/c knobs  most of the differences are just aesthetic..just as right-hand steering and such

yea you all get what everyone considers JDM stuff. Wich everyone but the US gets. Like the fancy climate control stuff that everyone wants

The only differences between the European VVT-i and the US GTS (appart from the location of the antenna and turn signal lights) is the engine, climate control and pedals - and then in Denmark no sunroof is available...

And also a roof mounted antenna, I can see something on top there. i've seen several celicas around here with the roof-mounted antenna. not sure why some of them are there and some by the spoiler (mine is near the spoiler) but it's not just a european/jdm thing

Euro Spec has...
GT has GTS rims
rear disc breaks on all models
digital climate controls
Saw some post about "jdm door sills", and they were the same as we got
Roof mounted antenna
Turn signal is located in the fender, not the front bumper
6 speed gearbox on all models
In the front bumper, we have mesh (in the big opening) as standard
(think that's not on the US one?)
Everyone, except the UK, has a speedometer in KM/H insted of MPH.
Hm. All I can think of right now.

when i was still living there, i remembered seeing a stock celica over there that had 6 spoke enkeis looked like.. and the climate control and the 2 fog reflector things on back
