Whats the easiest way to get sponsored.. i have lots of stuff done.. but need more... what can i do to get sponsored?

carsponsorship.com just kidding..don't go there. put ur car in shows..that's the best way or write to the companies with ur portfolio

what would you do in the shows? Will representatives come and talk to you or something?

You need a lot more done to your car first.

Then go to lots of car shows.

No offense but its somewhat hard to get sponsored. Obviously dont believe a lot of the sponsorships you hear that are too good to be true. You need to be constantly at car shows and getting publicity. By the way, nice B-day

from the looks in your profile it doesnt look like you have much... best bet is to find a way to stand out in a good way at car shows and win some torphys... for example good say to stand out is to have a nice celica with a wide body kit custom job and suicide lambo doors then again most of the guys that get sponsored dont really need it since they already dropped so much into the car.

It takes a lot to get sponsored, of all the badass celicas on this site, only a few have actual sponsors. A lot of people wont go that far, because it usually involves a lot of graphics, and other stuff. Some people give VoodooGTS flak because his car is 'riced out' in their minds, but he also has a nice sponsorship with AlienWare computers. The reason you should goto shows is for the publicity. Being able to show sponsors that you are in a lot of shows, and win them makes them want to sponsor you more. Especially if the shows are televised/published in magazines/newspapers.

my car is sponsered by Bodywerks, a body shop in my area.. its a good idea to start at places like that and bring them business and talk to them about sponserships and see what happens

yeah my friend has a powdercoating business and i was gonna just have him powdercoat some stuff for cheap and then put his business cards on my car at shows... but i think that's more of an agreement than a sponsorship... haha

Yea, it seems like to be sponsored, your car needs be in a shape where you do not need the sponsorship to get parts.
