whats the estimate on installing TRD springs... a local shop estimated my install at 400 bux not sure if that sounds good or not.. wtf

yeah, only takes about two hours, so 150 is about right. If you are mechanically inclined, just by a spring compressor, they are cheap, and do it yourself.

wow that is alot..i paid $80..if i were you i would either do it myself or keep looking around for a less expensive shop.

$150 for the install no more and probably less.
The biggest problem is compressing the spring and mounting it properly.
If you can get the whole strut/spring/upper mount all together, right, and properly mounted for a $15-30 rental of a spring compressor and some knowledgeable friends, then you are good to go and can do it yourself with the right tools/jacks or get any gas station mechanic to do it for you for scrap metal, if you did the hard work right in the first place.
