Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior ok, so has any paintball player thought of using his co2 or comp

so has any paintball player thought of using co2 or compressed air from his or her paint ball gun in place of a real bottle? then after that creating their own purge kit? well, i tried it out, it was tight as crap, not to mention cheap as anything too.. has any one given that anythought? ill try to get pics soon.

prob would have been cheaper to just take a compressed air can and turn it upside down and shoot it out the window

now if you ever spray that thing in front of someone on the street that wants to race then they are just gonna laugh when you dont got the N2O to back it up.
but hey its ur car do to it what you please

yeah, wouldnt use it on the street, but when im hanging with friends or at my friends car club.

well, take a standard air tank,co2 or n2o and attach it to a remote cord. paintball players should know what im talking about. then attach the end of the remote to the connector from that to the paint ball gun, the fittings from that are the same as oil pressure connectors and fittings, from their you can connect the oil pressure tubing and run it through your car however you want. next you have to put another oil tubing fitment bar at the end, from here you can use a t spliter to run two seperate purgers or keep it to one. and use more oil hose to the relitive place of where you want to set it up. next part can be tricky, if you want a special cloud shooter the you goota construst something up, or you can leave it simple and just use the hose and firmly attach it to something, using super glue or quick ties. if you guys have any better suggestions, let me know.

I got a couple of 20oz CO2 tanks, only problem is it's gonna be hard to control the air flow.

what about connecting it to a bov maby ?

bov...what purpose would that serve? do you know the pressure it takes to make a good release on a bov, last time i checked the ejection from a C02 bottle wasn't like 3psi

normally around 850 psi i belive
the safty valve on mine is 5kpsi

3 psi would be like 10 shots lol

it would create more hp if you spray into engine, will make the air around 30-45 degrees thus creating more hp and keping your engine cooler as you race. a lot of drag cars use it

dam that cars hot! and the purge is f'in sweet!!! when does it go off, when you push a button im guessing. but theres a zex kit that does it automatically to let go up unusable nos.

well you cant spray c02 directly into the engine, it will kill the motor.

It won't work. That's all you need to know. Don't do it. Plain and simple with a big PERIOD at the end.

um ok. so why is it working for me? if you suddenly relase a fair amount of co2 or nitrogen into the air you will have a thermal reaction, which results in the cloud look due to the large difference in temperature. Dont give me this bs on weather you think it works or not, cause you havent done it. i dont need your bull shit excuses ok. I just so happen to know a little about physics and engineering. as to the previous forum, sure i would love to look at it and see what they did.

oh and by the way, what would it screw up?

Another immature teen who is a self professed expert mechanic, engineer and physicist. I don't need to back up my BS call on your post, I've had the background , knowledge and skills in these areas for over 25 years.

You are perfect example of why ECelica gets a bad rep sometimes on the other Celi sites.

You have not done this and you are probably scrambling now to figure a way to get out of this. You need to use profanity and references into mens asses being wiped due to your low self esteem and lack of social skills.

Just read your install directions...any reasonable peep can plainly figure out that your install write up is a one minute idea not something you have actually accomplished using the design specs you spent developing given your background in engineering and physics.

You may have let all the CO2 out of a bottle or catridge while in your car and it did make a cloud but the rest is...

number one, i said i happen to know a little about physics and engineering.true? i never said expert and nor am i self professed in anything.
number two, i have done this, i havent set it up in my car yet, but i have the layout in my room, ask blitzceli about it, he was here last night to check it out. i will have a pic to show you, it might be a week before the pic comes up.
number three, no i did not spend all of my life trying to come up with a system to use a paintball air tank to create a purge kit.and im sorry that i dont have a written up blueprint for ya.

i have my purge hooked up to a button... i like to be able to control it...its like having a bottle of Rice-B-Gone in my trunk ... lol

Sounds cool if you could hook it up on a button but I don't understand how you could control the air...Also in paintball, compressed air does not make a "cloud of air" which is why hardcore paintballers (like myself) use it. It is more accurate, not as loud, lasts longer, and does not make a cloud like CO2 does. So it might would work with CO2. Just sharing my experiences, but good luck if you get it working

yeah, you cn get a button which is electronic and operates a motor that is located after the open/ closing knob, they are kinda expensive.aka 60- 135 bucks for one...but its sweet if you have it.just like shiftyz1x said.

oh, and i might be getting use of my teams co2 tank, its huge, the players who run co2 use it to fill their tanks up.

Did anyone ever think why N2O works and CO2 doesn't? There's a huge difference there. Find the link and read it. I won't do it for you. Pay attention in science class.
I skipped a grade or more in math and science for my high school term and I still know this is silly till this day, unless I'm missing something. You people should too.

um, they both produce a cloud, due to the extream change in temperature, i can understand compressed air and other possible substances like helium, but co2 and n2o work very well thank you. although, n2o does not put out a fire like co2 can.

there is a real kit out there.. its called cryo2. And yea it does work.. pull up a link and read about it before you jump to conclusions. It is proven that there is a substantial amout of hp gained
