Ehh, I personally tend to stay away from all sony stuff. I always stick with Pionner, the one i've have in my truck i've had for like 4 or 5 years without any problems at all. and its been in two cars..just my opinion..

Is that what you want? Because that's all that matters, for the most part. My only opinion about it: I don't know if I would buy a deck that has less than 5V pre-outs.

I was looking at Sony's for a while (with the active back panel), til I went nuts on a DVD player. Decks are all just functionality and appearance, because everyone's taste is different. I like clarity, so I have amps, and I spend about 2 hours tuning them to get what I like to hear.

But if you want that deck, just go buy it. Use amps and aftermarket speakers to get the sound you want from it. Because it's all asthetics with the HU...And someone's gonna rip me apart for saying that (because there's always the avid enthusiast that only buys one brand but for no reason).
