those are from GT factory...they are nice but its a universal kit so I'm sure it takes some work to make it fit a celi, I havent seen any pics of that kit yet.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...;category=33642 [ cgi.ebay.com] this ebay set is 1/3 the price of those sets and it's custom to the celica so it's a direct bolt on deal. as long as the peice of metal doesn't break it's a good deal even if you had to replace the shocks for stronger ones it'd still be cheaper. these kits are only hinges 1000 is a rediculous price for a hinge. might pay that if they gave me new doors with the kit as well, but not for a dinky little hinge.

i have a jt autosytle one. check my profile to check it out. there was problems with mine. i am trying to get it fixed. the problem was that the kit made the front of the door stick out too much, leaving about a pinky sized gap. big enough to let air/water into the car. i put some extra weather stripping to fill in the gap. from what i heard, this company has very high quality parts and i don't know why mine had to be bad part. this is the only bad thing about my kit, other than that i love the look, can't beat it.

those are from GT factory...they are nice but its a universal kit so I'm sure it takes some work to make it fit a celi, I havent seen any pics of that kit yet. i posted the link up earlier in the thread it IS a universal kit and you're probably better off welding it. they recently cut the price to $999, but it will take about $500-$700 to install it--so it comes out the same as the decah or verticaldoors.com kit. if you pick up the latest "modified" magazine (SEMA on the cover) it'll have an add for the "GT Factory Diablo" doors. in the add they show a celica..and give about 10 or so pics of it. it looks very good in my opinion. the people that have the kit love it for the most part. the shocks are stronger and the doors don't wobble as much as the decah, verticaldoors.com, or c2 kit. but like i said..it IS universal and therefore you most likely will have to pay a bit for the install.

lambo doors typically use a gas shock. the coler the weather, the more the gas compresses..which lessens the 'spring power' of the shock. the hotter weather, the more the gas expands..which increases the 'spring power' for lack of better terminology BUT..a lot of the shocks i see for the doors are nitrogen gas shocks..nitrogen is pretty stable in the way that it doesn't compress or expand as wildly due to temperature. (most airplane tires are filled with nitrogen for this exact reason)
