I ended up getting it for $1275 shipped to my dorm. I know an authorized reseller who was getting rid of the last of his stock. So I didn't have to pay the "general retail" price of $2,300. The down side of the unit is the price, especially from a non authorized retailer. But the upside is that their price makes them less popular, so the demand isn't very high. So finding a situation like this can get your great prices.

same one i got, for about the same price. let me know how you hook up two amps to it. there are no RCA outs. i used a lineout converter to hook the jl 300/4 to my mids and highs. want to know how to hook up another amp for a sub.

Well if you already have your 300/4 hooked up to the headunit just use the lineout on one of the amps to hook up the other. Basically just run a rca from the lineout of the sub amp to the input of your 300/4.

Here is a the setup.

so am i supposed to use the lineout converter for the subs amp and then... im not even going to get into it now. id go on forever.

er wait... id have the lineout from the HU RCA into the sub amp, then that would go to the mid/high amp? so all the RCAs would be used in the sub and the rear pair would be empty on the mids/high?

tell me its not that easy. rofl

Not exactly sure how your wiring is setup. I seen that the 300/4 doesn't have a lineout which would have been easy to hook up another amp by daisy chaining it. But if you buy a sub amp it has a line out, so all you would have to do is hook up one of the two rcas going to the 300/4 to the subamp and run a small length rca from the output rca of the sub amp to the open rca on the 300/4. You might lose some fading ability though.

yea, just set your amp up to run all four channels off one rca input. Their should be an input selector switch somewhere on the amp. I was just confused how you had two rca's going to your 300/4 from your line converter. But either way should work.
