i tried with all my might to unbolt the exhaust, and i used soap and water...but that didn't help. So can anyone recommend some good lubricant to use to help me get the fucker undone? thanks

I am assuming you are talking about the the infamous two bolts. Just going to have to use at least a 1/2 drive socket with a good breaker bar. I ended up using breaker bar and the handle to my floor jack. Onece they are broke loose they'll come right out

I used WD-40...

just find a pipe that will fit around the handle of your ratchet...it will give you more leverage. I tried unbolting mine with just a medium sized ratchet and it didn't work for shit...sprayed it with wd-40 and added the pipe to my jack and it was a sinch thumbsup

I'm not sure if you are having trouble with the bolts or the hangers.

Spray WD40 on the bolts and let it sit for a while before you try to get the bolts loose.

Put dish soap all over the exhaust hangers to get the muffler off of the car.

you need some muscle and a strong wrench...i found that the hardest part wasnt getting it off..it was trying to put it back on..i had to go to a shop to get it put back on...if your near a air force base and you got some AF friends, go to the auto hobby shop and pay like 3 bucks an hour..they have all the tools you'll need..lift, torque wrench etc...i used a socket wrench for one side and the closed end of the wrench for the other side..works pretty good that way..

Hmmm...When I unbolted the two bolts on the Celica GT I just used a wrench and it gave in. I am not big either, 5ft 6" and 140lbs. So if I can do it, I am pretty sure you will be able to do so.

Mine were VERY stuck. I used a breaker bar and all that. I ended up cutting my bolts off.
