Im def gonna get a CAI soon and i am stuck between Injen and TPR...i know from other posts and whatnot that TPR gives better gains like around 8-10hp right?, so im leaning towards TPR. Is TPR CARB legal, and does it convert to a SRI because where i live it rains sometimes and that wouldnt be a bad idea to have something that did that? and does anyone have a pic of the CAI. thanks

yes it converts to a SRI if you get the cold air intake from TPR, it is not carb legal yet but since the company is based in california it will have to get carb certification soon... and TPR will give you the bests gains possible

lol... unless you go threw a puddle that is like 2ft deep... you won't have a problem with CAI... only when flooding is happening and when that happens you shouldn't be driving anyway...

CARB is only for cali. I drive in RI all the time with mine...no problem.

8-10 whp is stretching it for ANY cold air intake.

as already stated, carb is only for cali (which if i remember correctly, it won't be carb approved)

and i think even with the new component material it will still convert to shortram, which is definately a novelty

yeah I'm wondering about this too. is there a way to switch it out quickly if you need to or do you have to take the whole bumper off?

i do it without taking the bumper off. I just unclip the fender liner and take the bottom piece out that way. loosen the top clamp and put the filter on the other end.

The shop is taking a lil longer than expected. Pics will be posted soon!

Is the #1 piece an added on piece or is it like that from the factory?

Also, is the #2 section opened already, or do we have to cut our own hole?

Do you have an estimate or idea when they might be ready?

exhausts should be out within a week or two. Magnaflow told me on friday that the mufflers should be there on monday. Tips are being shipped and the flange place is being difficult but I'll handle them on Monday as well. I'm just gonna send someone to pick them up and drop them off since they are like 30 minutes from the shop.

piece #1 in the pic is just a cover for the fender liner, probably to keep water out
