does anyone know if i were to purchase a different color headlamp cover, if they can be repainted to my OEM color... carbon blue since its not advaiable.

you can paint them yourself.

you can definately paint them to match your carbon blue. you probably have to order the paint from a dealer. or if you use a shop they will custom match it or order from a dealer as well.

I bought a set of black ones and a friend of mine at the dealership got them painted carbon blue for me in their body shop. They look great, so yes, it can be done.

i just ordered some from www.rsversion.com [rsversion.com] and there being painted for about $95 much cheaper then trd..oh yea and the eyelids themselves were 25 (including $10 for shipping..crazy)

I was wondering, do they make plain-old clear headlight covers for the celica? I want a set to protect the lights from stone chips & such, I am also planning a black housing swap (I've seen them on a yellow GT, the silver reflector plate was drilled out as well, factory option?) I could use a set of clear covers to protect my investment.

Just get some 3M clear bra applied to your lights. They are makde of Lexan which is REALLY really tough. Most collisions, the headlights survive, which says a lot for their durability.
